Mincemeat Cookies

Ingredients & Directions


4 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
2 c Honey
1 c Vegetable shortening
3 lg Egg
1 c Mincemeat

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly greas 2 baking sheets. Combine flour
and baking soda. In a large bowl, beat the honey and shortening. Beat in
the eggs. Gradually blend in the dry ingedients. Stir in the mincemeat.
Drop the dough by spoonfuls 1 1/2 inches apart onto the prepared baking
sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly colored. Transfer ti wire
racks to cool.
